About Kitale National Polytechnic
Kitale National Polytechnic was established in 1980 and was upgraded to national polytechnic status in 2016. It is now one of the largest providers of technical and vocational education and training in the north rift, with an enrolment of more than twelve thousand students.
The polytechnic runs diploma, craft certificate and artisan programmes across nine academic departments, supported by four administrative offices. Every programme is competency based and is assessed by KNEC or by CDACC, and the institution is fully accredited by TVETA.
Our graduates go into engineering, construction, agriculture, hospitality, information technology and business across Kenya and beyond.
